West Coast Makeup Clutch

Los Angeles has always held a special place in my heart, not only on a personal level but for Breakups to Makeup as well.  The amount of love that we have always received from LA was evident since launching the brand.  And within my makeup community there are so many artists who live and work there, who are being affected.  

I was trying to figure out the best way to help during this time. Then I stumbled upon some old inventory. Back in 2015, I had launched a homage to two cities that play a such an important role for us in the makeup industry, and me personally—New York City and Los Angeles.

They were called the East Coast and West Coast clutches. They were the first of my clutches that were made out of buttery soft vegan faux leather with the beautiful rose gold print.  In all honesty, they are my favorite clutches to date.  For those of you that remember, the NYC clutch was in black, the LA clutch in off white.  The New York City clutch sold out at the Makeup Show in New York. 

While I was packing orders yesterday I came across a couple of LA bags that we still had in inventory that I completely forgot about.  I took it as a sign.

As a tribute to beautiful LA we are going to be selling these bags and 100% of the profit from the sales will go to Grishan Roof and her Project Kit Rescue. 

In Project Kit Rescue, she is helping makeup artists and hair stylists rebuild their kits after the LA fires.  To date they are rebuilding 78 kits for various artists and counting.  This will help support rebuilding the kits for these artists so they can get back to work.  

We have 16 West Coast bags in stock and will be selling them for $50 (plus $6.99 flat rate shipping). All of the profits will go to this fund.  If you would also like to donate the bag to Project Kit Rescue, you can message me after purchase to let me know and we will ship all donated bags directly to Grishan.

I want to reiterate that the slogan itself does not reflect my feelings towards what is going on out there.  It was created 10 year ago and was meant to be light hearted and fun at that time.  In no way is it meant mock the current tragic situation.  I love LA and our community out there.  It is so heartbreaking to see and I want to help in any way that we possibly can.
